The National 2 season started with a double game-day. After the first week-end, Gréngewald, Mondorf and Zolwer remain unbeaten.
On Sunday, Mondorf won 92:88 against BC Mess behind a combined 76 points (38 points each) by their US-players Small and Ross.
Gréngewald had no difficulties to beat Black Star 91:58 in a win where all 12 players scored at least 3 points for the « greens ».
Bascharage reacted after their thrilling opening night loss and overcame Kordall 89:84. Logins (30 points), Morton (20) and Ndiaye (19) did most of the scoring for the team of coach Adam Radomirovic.
Finally, Zolwer earned an easy win against Mamer, the final score was 89:52. Knight led his team with 26 points, Gilles Weis added 18. Mamer lacks a third scoring option next to Billy McDaniel (23) and Denell Stephens (18), the team has started the season with 2 defeats.
Next weekend, the top game between the two unbeaten teams Zolwer and Gréngewald is on the schedule. Mondorf is looking to stay unbeaten on the road in Mersch, Bascharage tries to grab a second straight win against Mamer and BC Mess and Kordall meet in Monnerich where the hosts try to grab a first win this season.
