Our 3×3 national teams played the qualification tournament for the Europe Cup that will be played in September in Jerusalem (Israel).
During the Limassol qualifier (Cyprus), our national teams were able to finish the group as the number one seed. On Sunday, both teams will tried to win the tournament to earn a spot at the FIBA Europe Cup. Our women managed to win both the semi finals and finals and have booked their ticket to the Europe Cup! The main tournament in September will be played with a total of only 12 teams. This is clearly a historical success for basketball in Luxembourg.
Bridget Yoerger was selected MVP of the tournament.
