Interreg basketball academy, in collaboration with the FLBB, is organizing a 3X3 basketball tournament on June 26th for U14 and U16 girls in Dudelange.
Women’s national team player Nadia Mossong, who is working at Interreg basketball academy, is happy to organize this tournament: „It is the first FIBA endorsed 3X3 tournament in Luxembourg. Over the course of this special season, we did not have the possibility to organize tournaments so now we will finish the season with a big event which is great to see. We have 12 teams participating in the U14 category and 10 teams in the U12 category so that there will be around 100 players competing. »
The youth tournament wil start at 10:00, a special gala-game will be played between T71-women and the women’s national team. „This will be a great game to watch as the players are not used to play 3 on 3 basketball. It should be a lot of fun » says Mossong.
Supporters are allowed to come and visit the event under the same circumstances as the men’s finals game.
