While the men’s teams have entered a small pause because our national team will be in action on February 27th against Albania ( –> Ticket presale is open! ), the women’s second round continues as all 8 teams will be in action. Furthermore, the first game of the promotion and relegation group will be played.
Games on Saturday:
18:00 T71 – Résidence
18:30 Musel Pikes – Gréngewald
Games on Sunday:
16:00 Basket Esch – Contern
16:00 Amicale – Etzella
After losing their first game this season in Ettelbruck last weeekend, T71 is facing Résidence Walfer, a team that will try to jump to the second place over the next weeks. The Musel Pikes will try to stay 2nd in the standings as the team around Charlie Bidinger faces a difficult opponent Gréngewald. The greens’ record (10:8) does not show the talent of their team and they could become a big factor in the title race moving forward. On Sunday, Basket Esch and Contern will meet in a game where the direct comparison is very important as both teams are neighbors in the standings. Amicale will host Etzella, the guests come off a big win over league leader Dudelange.
In the promotion and relegation group, all points are set to 0, every team will have 6 more games this season. Wiltz (LBBL), Sparta (LBBL), Zolwer (N2) and Racing (N2) are the competing teams in this round. On Saturday, Wiltz will host Racing for the opener in this group.
Game on Saturday:
18:00 Wiltz – Racing
