On Saturday evening, the 3rd game of the men’s best-of-5 finals series was played in Steinsel. Basket Esch was able to take a 2:1 series lead and will have a chance to win the title at home next weekend.

– Led by Rugg (12 points), Grün (10) and Monteiro (8), Esch had a 43:32 lead at the break
– Esch jumped out to a 17-point lead after the break after 2 straight 3-pointers by Rodenbourg, the guest led by 14 points before the start of the final quarter
– Esch made 11 three pointers, Rugg led the team with 26 points, Thomas Grün added 21 and Jordan Hicks scored 15
– Alex Reese led Amicale with a game-high 30 points
