National team player Joy Baum has extended her contract with the German club Chemcats Chemnitz (second Bundesliga) for another year as the club announced on Tuesday. The 21-year old member of the Sports army started her professional career in Chemnitz last season but suffered a season ending injury in January (torn acl).
According to the club, Baum could be available to start the regular season 2023/24.
Joy Baum is the second luxembourgish professional player in Germany next season, Magaly Meynadier will also continue her career in Germany (Marburg, first Bundesliga).
