Team Luxemburg was not ready for the physical play of Baden-Wuertenberg beginning of the first quarter and was behind 10:28. Luxemburg started off the game well, improving in their overall game, trailing Baden-Wuertenberg in the first quarter 13:18. The rest of the game was a mirror of Game 1, in where Baden Wuertenberg over and over used their physical size advantage to take easy offensive rebounding put backs. Final Score: 48:92

Game 3
Luxembourg – Baden-Wuertenberg 77-80
Team Luxemburg showed up with a tremendous fighting spirit, being undersized but matching Baden-Wuertenberg with some tough physical plays and smart fast break decisions on offense. The team looked like transformed in comparence with the two previous games, winning the first quarter.
In the second quarter the team continued with its much improved defense, causing crucial turnovers for the German side. Luxemburg went to the lockers with a lead.
In the third quarter Luxemburg's key inside players got into foul trouble and the team was struggling to secure the defensive rebound game. However the score was still close at the end of the 3rd quarter.
In the fourth quarter key players Larusso, Hippert and Buck were fouled out, and Baden-Wuertenberg used its size advantage to get easy baskets down low. However team spirit was high and Mykolas Maindron who was never be able to be controlled by the German team, was making some smart plays to keep the score close in the fourth quarter. With the score tied at 77:77 and 2sec. to play, the German team pulled a "Hail Mairy" from half court at the buzzer to win the game 77:80.
