T71 Dudelange – Amicale Steinsel 98:90
– Six T71-players scored 9+ points, Faith Ehi Etute led the team with 22 points and 10 rebounds
– Amicale hit 14 threes but it was not enough to grab a win on the road
– T71 improves its record to 18:1 but has not clinched the first place in the standings because Gréngewald was able to win its game as well, Amicale has a 10:9 record and will enter the play-offs as the number 6 seed
Basket Esch – AB Contern 66:63
– Basket Esch enters the play-offs with this victory! The team improves to 7:12, Contern’s record drops to 12:7 but the team will have a chance to catch Résidence (currently 4th) on the last game day
– Contern had a last chance to tie the game but Lou Mathieu’s 3-pointer just missed (video)
– Morgan Pullins had 25 points and 16 rebounds for Esch, Contern only hit 6 out of 36 three-point attempts (16%)
Gréngewald Hueschtert – Sparta Bertrange 90:72
– Lauren Van Kleunen (34 points) and Samantha Logic (31 points, 12 assists) helped the hosts grab this victory, Lisy Hetting added 14 points
– Gréngewald improves its record to 17:2 and has a chance at the first place on the last game day with a victory and a loss by T71 at the same time
– Sparta will enter the play-offs as the number 3 seed, the team has a 13:6 record after this loss
Résidence Walfer – Musel Pikes 65:46
– First game for the new head coach of the Musel Pikes, Anan Majdi
– Nadine Bourg and Julianne Missavage led Résidence with 14 points, the hosts finish the regular season with a 12:8 record and are currently 4th in the standings but Contern could catch them and earn home court in their direct meeting in the 1/8 finals of the play-offs
– The Musel Pikes’ record drops to 6:13. If Etzella loses on Sunday in Wiltz, the Musel Pikes enter the play-offs. If Etzella wins, both teams enter the final game day with the same record but the Musel Pikes earn the tie breaker
