Ehis Etute and her university Oregon will play at the March Madness tournament in March. Despite their loss in the Big Ten tournament 2 weeks ago, Oregon was selected to compete in the event on « Selection Sunday ».
In the March Madness tournament, the best college-teams will compete in single-elimination games with the National Championship game being on the schedule on April 6th.
Here is the schedule of the event:
– First Four: March 19-20
– First round: March 21-22
– Second round: March 23-24
– Sweet 16: March 28-29
– Elite Eight: March 30-31
– Final Four: April 4
– NCAA championship game: April 6
It is the second straight March Madness tournament with a Luxembourgish player after Anne Simon played with Maine in 2024.
