With the finals games played in the men’s play-offs on Saturday-evening, the quarter-finals matchups are known.
Champion Etzella will host US Heffingen and T71 will enter the quarter finals with home court advantage against Racing. They will play a “best-of-3“-series.
On Saturday, the opponents played against each other … Etzella took an early lead and finally won 97:86 against Heffingen behind Philippe Gutenkauf’s 29 points while T71 overcame an early deficit to beat Racing 79:72 in the end. Muller led T71 with 22 points and 9 rebounds.
Basket Esch finishes the play-offs as the number one seed and will have home-court-advantage in every matchup in the semi-finals and possibly in the finals.
