Our women’s national team will be in action in the 2025 Eurobasket Qualifiers on November 7th (against Montenegro) and November 10th (against Switzerland).
After starting the qualification with 2 victories against Switzerland (56:48 on the road) and against Bosnia and Herzegovina (77:64 at home), Luxembourg’s women have a historic chance to qualify for the main tournament.
How to qualify?
12 spots are available in the qualifiers. Eight competitive groups participate, the 8 group winners (groups A – H) and the four best second placed teams qualify for FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2025. All 4 teams from group I (the hosts of the European Championship 2025) are already qualified for the tournament.
Where and when is the European Championship 2025?
The EC 2025 will be played in 4 countries: Italy, Germany, Greece, Czechia. The games will be played from June 18th until June 29th 2025.

Both games will be played at the ARENA (big gym) at the Coque in Kirchberg.
