On Wednesday-evening, Gréngewald Hueschtert hosted Castors Braine (Belgium) for the second game in the EuroCup competition group phase.
The guests had a strong start and took an early lead, 14:22 after the first quarter. However, Gréngewald fought and stayed in the game in the second quarter. Samantha Logic had 10 first-half-points and the gap at the break was 9 points (27:36).
In the second half, Braine was able to extend its lead and took a 20-point lead in the third quarter. Dejza James, who led Gréngewald with 18 points, and Lynn Schreiner (9 points on 3/3 from outside the arc) helped the hosts to limit the deficit. In the end, it was a 52:76 defeat for the « Greens ».
