On Wednesday evening, Gréngewald Hueschtert played the 5th game of the EuroCup competition. On the road in Belgium, the team from Luxembourg faced Braine, vice champion of the Belgian league. In the end, Gréngewald lost the game 66:115.
After both teams were tied at 10:10 to start the game, the hosts went on a big run and led 32:16 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, Gréngewald played at even level. This made the coach of Braine so furious that he took 2 timeouts within one minute and everybody could hear his anger as he raised his voice. At the break, Braine had a 53:36 lead. The hosts caught fire in the second half and hit a total of 19 threes, the lead kept growing and in the end, Braine clearly won this game. Katarina Vuckovic led the « Greens » with 26 points.
