Gréngewald Hueschtert has won the first game of the best-of-three promotion/relegation series. On Sunday, the team of coach Alex Pires was able to beat Avanti Mondorf on the road, the final score was 79:76.
The hosts led by 8 points at the break but Gréngewald turned the game around in the second half to secure the victory.
On Wednesday (19:30), Gréngewald will have a chance to win the series and stay in the LBBL. Mondorf needs a victory on the road in Oberanven to force a decisive game 3.
