The second game of the women’s finals (best of 5 series) was played on Wednesday in Oberanven.

– Gréngewald takes a 2:0 lead in the best-of-5 series
– Next to Catherine Mreches, Nadia Mossong is out for the season after her injury in game 1 of the finals
– The guest jumped out to a quick 11-point lead (2:13) but the hosts reacted with a 15:0 run and led 17:13 after 10 minutes
– Van Kleunen (14), Logic (13) and Dowdell (10) scored in double digits in the first half and helped Gréngewald take a 37:28 lead into the locker rooms
– Gréngewald was able to extend the lead in the third quarter and led 60:45 going into the final quarter
– Led by a superb Samantha Logic (24 points, 11 assists, 7 rebounds), Gréngewald finally won by 20 points
The third game of the series will be played on Saturday (18:30) in Dudelange.
