The women team of Gréngewald Hueschtert has lost the first game of their head-to-head duell against Banco Sardegna Sassari from Italy on the road on Thursday-evening in the EuroCup qualification.
The club from Luxembourg lost by 15 points (67:85) and enters the second game at home in a few days with hope to advance after a strong overall performance on Thursday. Unfortunately for the « greens », the hosts managed to raise their lead in the final minutes which makes the challenge for the rematch more difficult.
