After trailing after one quarter, Heffingen turned the game around against Zolwer with a 28:5 third quarter and finally won the game 85:55. Mark Burkholder scored 29 points to lead the team while Tom Schomer added 19.
Co-leader Black Frogs Schieren was able to win another close game, 75:71 over BC Mess. Joshua Reynolds scored 27 points to secure a close victory at home.
After a slow start into the season, Avanti Mondorf finishes the first round with a 5:3 record after beating Bascharage 82:59. Jackson Meshanic led the guests with 29 points, Bascharage is not contending for a play-off spot this season, the team has only won 1 game so far.
Racing Luxembourg rolled past the winless team Telstar while coach Adam Radomirovic decided to rest his professional players against the last placed team in the standings, Racing won 99:45 in the end behind a team-high 19 points by louis Soragna.
The standings after one round, one more round will be played before the start of the play-offs. The top 6 teams will enter the play-offs where another 10 games are scheduled.
