The Hedgehogs Bascharage stay in striking distance with the top teams of the league after a 74:59 win over Wiltz. Tyrell Sturdivant led his team with 30 points and 17 rebounds, Bascharage was able to limit Wiltz to 30% shooting from the field. Newcomer Wiltz has a 1:6 record after 7 games.
On Sunday, Mambra Mamer won 81:69 on the road against the Black Frogs Schieren. It was the 5th win in 7 games for the team of coach Mike Smith while Schieren stays on the bottom of the standings with 1 win and 6 losses. Billy McDaniel scored 30 points in this victory for his team that overcame a game-high 32 points by Walter Williams.
