Ben Kovac and his team Patrioti Levice played the second round of the Champions league qualification tournament on Friday. They were able to beat Kauhajoki (Finland) 81:57 and advance to the finals of their group. With another win on Sunday (12:30), Levice would qualify for the Champions league main phase, the groupe stage.
Ben Kovac had a very strong game on Friday, he finished with 17 points and 4 rebounds in 24 minutes as he scored on layups, long range shots and free-throws to help his team win this crucial game. Our national team player was 6/7 from the field.
On Sunday, Levice will face Unicaja (Spain) at 12:30.
