17:30 T71 Dudelange – Gréngewald Hueschtert
The two top teams of the women’s season will meet in the finals. T71 and Gréngewald played in the EuroCup in 2022, they dominated the championship and qualified for the play-offs as the number one and two seed and will now face each other in the finals. While T71 earns home court in the first meeting which gives them a small advantage, the guests Gréngewald are unbeaten since November! The team of coach Francois Manti has been playing extremely well in 2023 and especially since the arrival of Lauren Van Kleunen – she has been a perfect fit into the team and is the number one target for the brilliant passes by team leader Samantha Logic. By adding Sierra Moore to its team, T71 has gained opportunities to rotate and both teams are playing with 3 professional players on their roster. Mandy Geniets has been playing fantastic on the point guard position after the injury of Catherine Mreches and Faith Ehi Etute has been a force under the baskets all season long. This series could become one of the best over the past years in the women’s championship as both teams are loaded with talent on their roster.
