In the men’s LBBL, 4 games are scheduled for Saturday evening. The top game is set for Sunday as champion Basket Esch will host vice-champion Amicale Steinsel in the top game of the week. Furthermore, a duell between the two promoted teams Mamer and Kordall will also be played on Sunday. On Saturday, T71 will try to show that, despite all the player movements this summer, the team is still capable of being a contender against Arantia. The Musel Pikes and Gréngewald met in the play-down last season and have a chance to start the season with a win that will definitely give a lot of confidence to the winning team.

In the women’s LBBL, champion Gréngewald Hueschtert is free on the first game day. The season starts with T71 hosting Wilt as the hosts are the clear favorite to start the season with a victory. The Musel Pikes welcome Sparta in Stadtbredimus as it will be interesting to see how the home team will play with a roster that changed a lot during the off-season. On Sunday, the game between Esch and Steinsel will be a very interesting one as both teams have the ambitions to play for the top spots this season after adding multiple players to their rosters. Contern travels to Zolwer and is the favorite to grab a victory to start the season.
