On Thursday evening, the men’s national team played the fourth and final game of the World Cup 2027 European pre-qualifiers.

Luxembourg had a strong start into the game and forced the coach from Norway into an early timeout when the FLBB squad was up 19:12. 7 players scored points for the FLBB selection in the first quarter as Luxembourg led 21:15. Luxembourg continued to play well in the second quarter and made some difficult shots to stay ahead before heading into the break (38:30 lead after 20 minutes). Dorian Grosber had an amazin dunk in transition to make his presence known (video).
In the second half, Norway started strong and was able to go a run. Frey and Ndow hit from eveywhere and the hosts took over the lead of the game. Luxembourg was able to strike back in the final quarter and the game was tied with 5 minutes remaining. In the end, Norway was able to grab a close victory, Luxembourg did not have the necessary shooting touch to fight for a victory.
