Our national team played a gala game against Sluc Nancy on Saturday at the Coque in Kirchberg. In front of 1.020 spectators in the gym, the supporters saw a hard fought game on a strong level.

– Luxembourg only trailed by 1 point at the break (37:38) as 9 players of the hosts scored points in the first 20 minutes, Ben Kovac led the team with 8 points
– Luxembourg was able to take the lead to start the second half thanks to long range shots by Gutenkauf and Kovac, but Nancy reacted and had a run to end the third quarter, the guests led 62:59 heading into the final quarter
– Nancy took control of the game in the final quarter and finally managed to secure the victory
– Clancy Rugg (18 points), Ben Kovac (13) and Philippe Gutenkauf (14) led Luxembourg while 10 players scored points for the hosts
