On Saturday evening (20:30), Luxembourg’s men’s national team will play the fourth and final game of the 2025 FIBA Eurobasket Pre-Qualifiers. On the road in Ireland, the team of coach Ken Diederich is looking to grab the first victory of the competition.
The goal of Luxembourg is to finish the Pre-Qualifiers with a victory on the road which will be a difficult challenge. Ireland was able to beat the FLBB squad by 20 points a week ago at the Coque in Kirchberg. Luxembourg was disappointed after this loss and reacted with a strong performance against Croatia in front of 1650 fans on Wednesday. This good performance gave the team confidence for the final task in Ireland.
The roster for the game against Ireland:
Philippe Gutenkauf, Bob Melcher, Ivan Delgado, Derek Wilson Jr, Ben Kovac, Thomas Grün, Oliver Vujakovic, Alex Laurent, Clancy Rugg, Malcolm Kreps, Dorian Grosber, Lou Demuth
