Great news for basketball in Luxembourg! Our national team will compete in the second round of the qualification tournament for the World Cup 2023 in August.
Over the last months, Luxembourg played the first round of the pre-qualifiers and was eliminated in a group against Iceland, Kosovo and Slovakia. Luxembourgish basketball fans certainly remember the last shot against Iceland in February when our men lost at the buzzer in heartbreaking fashion.
