On a dramatic last game day of the National 2 play-offs, Mambra Mamer was able to grab the second promotion spot to the LBBL. The team of coach Mike Smith won 83:55 in Mersch which gave the team a points difference of +93 in the play-offs. Direct opponent Avanti Mondorf was able to win its game on the road in Kordall 105:76 but their points difference (+78) is not good enough and so they finish the season on the 3rd spot. However, the team of coach Philip Dejworek will have a chance to promote in a promotion and relegation series against Gréngewald Hueschtert.
In fact, Gréngewald Hueschtert lost 72:76 in Heffingen after overtime but their opponent AS Zolwer also lost 67:83 against the Musel Pikes so that the « Greens » stay second in the standings and will face Mondorf in a best-of-3 series. Zolwer relegates to the National 2.
