The men’s JICL MVP race is presented by our partner QUBE, this is the season finale edition.
1. Frank Muller
The experienced player from Dudelange has led the race from the start of the season with an impressive 15 PPG and 11.3 RPG double-double. He has clearly been the best JICL player this season in the Total League, and has helped Dudelange qualify for the Playoffs. Frank will end his season after this year.
2. Philippe Gutenkauf
Etzella finished the season on the first place behind their point guard Sticky, who is also the starting point guard in the men’s national team. Sticky leads all JICL-Players in scoring with 17.1 PPG, adding an average of 4.8 Assists and 3.6 Rebounds per Game.
3. Mike Feipel
The young player from Bertrange has made himself a name this season with strong performances. Feipel’s team Sparta was competitive in all the games depsite playing without professional players. He is not the only young player who will have a big future in Sparta’s team.
4. Xavier Robert-Francois
With the help of a very balanced performance from all their JICL-Players, Résidence finished the season on the second place and directly qualified for the semi-finals. National team player Francois has played very consistent and his size and versatility earns him the 4th place in this MVP-race.
5. Pit Biever
Basket Esch finished the season 4th in the standings, Biever has been a driving force with his consistent and efficient scoring, especially from beyond the arc. Over the years, he has developped into a great shooter and has proven that he can knock down 3’s on a consistent basis over a whole season.
