After the national team break, the men’s LBBL is back this weekend with game day 12. After all teams met once this season, these were the main takeaways –> LBBL: 10 main takeaways after men’s round 1 .
The Musel Pikes will play their first game with new head coach Milan Skobal and new professional player William Christmas. Racing Luxembourg will play its first game under new head coach Pit Rodenbourg and new professional player Cory Johnson.
For the bottom teams in the standings, 11 game-days remain to avoid the relegation-group and enter the play-offs. The top 8 teams will qualifyfor the play-offs at the end of the season. At this moment, Telstar, Amicale, Racing and the Musel Pikes would miss out on the play-offs. In the relegation group, 6 moe games will be played, 2 teams will move down to the National 2 while the third last placed team will play a relegation series (best-of-5) against the third placed team of the second league.

In the women`s LBBL, T71 and Gréngewald meet once again after Wednesday’s cup game where T71 eliminated Gréngewald and stayed unbeaten for the entire season. The Musel Pikes, second ranked team in the league, face a big challenge from now on to replace team leader Cathy Schmit who suffered a season and possibly career ending injury ( –> Cathy Schmit tears achilles which may end her long career ).
