This Saturday, the 22nd and therefore final game-day is scheduled in the men’s regular season. However, some teams have more than 1 remaining game because of the cancellations over the last weeks. Several games can also not be played because of the Covid-19 virus on Saturday. The games Racing – Arantia and Sparta – Résidence are canceled.
In the top game T71 – Etzella, the guests will have the chance to clinch the number 1 seed with a road-win! T71 has 4 remaining games and it is obvious that they will play a lof of games in a short time over the next days, a tough schedule for the team around Tom Schumacher and Frank Muller.
Basket Esch has recently added Ben Kovac, who will help the team in the title-race ( –> Ben Kovac joins Basket Esch in the title-race ). The team is currently second in the standings, but they know that they will (probably) have to fight for a spot in the semi-finals in a play-in game at home. Against Heffingen, Esch is the clear favorite, Heffingen`s season will end with this game.
AB Contern wants to get ready for the play-in game in a few days, the game against Telstar is a good possibility to work on some things. The winless Telstar will have another game against T71 so that their season will not end yet this Saturday, their focus is on the upcoming season.
The Musel Pikes did not practice a lot over the last days as their team was in quarantine, but they will face Amicale. The season will end for both teams after this game.
