The Hedgehogs Bascharage were able to hand leader Kordall Steelers their second loss of the season in a 67:58 victory. Chris Barton led the team with 24 points while Tyrell sturdivant had 17 points and 20 rebounds. The guests were icecold from the 3-point-line (2/17) but still lead the league with a 12:2 record. Bascharage has improved its situation over the last weeks and has a 8:5 record in the newest league standings.
Black Star Mersch stormed past Les Sangliers Wiltz, the final score was 92:65 behind a triple double by Tylik Evans (29 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) and 31 points by Markese Mayfield. The team from Mersch stays in a good position in the standings with a 10:5 record, Wiltz has won 3 out of 14 games this season.
In a close game, Racing Luxembourg was able to win 92:90 on the road against the Black Frogs Schieren. Flenard Whitfield (26 points) and Matt Weir (25) combined for 51 points as Racing overcame 42 points by Walter Williams. The team from the capital improves its record to 7:8 while Schieren remains last in the National 2 standings with a 1:13 record.
Avanti Mondorf earned a key victory at home over Mambra Mamer, the final score was 102:93. Blake Seits and Jalen Green eached scored 32 points for Mondorf, Steve Kuhlmann added 15 points. Mondorf remains the second best team in the league with a 11:3 record, Mamer has lost 3 straight games in 2023 and has a balanced 7:7 record in the standings.
