US Heffingen was able to beat Black Star Mersch 82:71 on the road. Zachary Hinton made his debut for Heffingen, he scored 19 points and 13 rebounds in 21 minutes on the court. Mersch is one point behind the promotion or relegation place with 2 remaining game days.
The Black Frogs Schieren lost 79:85 against Racing Luxembourg. It was a bitter loss for Schieren as the team falls down to third place in the standings, a key game against Avanti Mondorf is on the schedule next Saturday.
On Sunday, Avanti Mondorf continued its winning streak by beating AS Zolwer 88:65. With this victory, Mondorf jumps to the second place in the standings. Jackson Meshanic led his team with 30 points while Steve Kuhlmann added a season-high 28 points. With a victory against Schieren next Saturday and a loss by Black Star against Zolwer, Mondorf could become the second team to promote to the LBBL.
