On Wednesday-evening, the two EuroCup teams Gréngewald Hueschtert and T71 Dudelange met in Oberanven for a rescheduled LBBL game.
Gréngewald – T71 73:88
– T71 started a run in the second quarter behind hot shooting, the team made 10/20 3-pointers in the first half! Catherine Mreches knocked down 5 shots from outside the arc in the first 20 minutes as 4 T71-players scored 10+ points in the first half (Mreches, Mossong, Geniets, Winton).
– Gréngewald tried to make a combeack in the third quarter behind Logic and James, but T71 continued to have a hot hand and never let the hosts come back into the game
– Mreches led Dudelange with 27 points (6/7 threes), Geniets (19), Winton (17), Mossong (14) and Etute (11) scored in double digits
– James had a game-high 28 points for Gréngewald, Logic (12), Vuckovic (11) and Lynn Schreiner (11) scored in double digits
– Champion T71 is the only unbeaten team and improves to 4:0, Gréngewald loses the first game of the season (4:1).
