On Friday-evening, 3 games were played in the women’s LBBL to finish game day 9.
The Musel Pikes used a strong first quarter (35:10) to take a big lead over Amicale and finally won the game 88:72. Yoerger (24 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists), Ferenz (24/9/6) and Cathy Schmit (17/5/7) led the hosts. However, bad news for both teams were part of this game as Julie Mangen and Charlie Bidinger had to be helped off the court after injuries.
The unbeaten leader T71 took a 67:56 win over Basket Esch as Shalonda Winton led the guests with 20 points and 17 rebounds. Contern was able to grab a 73:57 win on the road in Ettelbruck behind 27 points by Landry. Scott led Etzella with 35 points and 20 rebounds.
On Thursday, Gréngewald stormed past Wiltz (100:59) while Sparta was able to beat Résidence (89:83).
