It is play-offs-time in the men’s National 2. On Saturday evening the first game day of a total of 10 game days will be played.
League leader and favorite Heffingen will start with a home game against 5th ranked Avanti Mondorf. However, the team from Mondorf has high ambitions and is eager to climb the standings after the addition of Jake Ross two weeks ago. It will be interesting to see if the team of coach Bob Adam will be able to compete with the league’s top team.
The Black Frogs Schieren want to defend the third place at home against Zolwer. The guests are in a similar situation than Mondorf, they need victories in order to climb the standings and put pressure on the other teams.
Racing Luxembourg will have the chance to reduce the deficit to Black Star Mersch to one single point while Black Star wants to keeps its amazing streak of 11 straight wins going and underline its ambitions.
Next to the wins and losses, the direct comparisons will become important. The two games played in this play-offs will count for the possible tie-breakers at the end of the season.

The points from the regular season are being kept. The best two teams after 10 rounds promote to the LBBL, the 3rd placed team will play a best-of-3 promotion series against the third last placed team from the LBBL.
