A total of 4 FIBA windows are planned during the 2024/25 season calendar while the games of the small European countries will be played after the season. Both the women’s and men’s national team will be in action in November 2024 and February 2025 as well as in May 2025.
While the women compete in the 2025 Eurobasket Qualifiers, the men compete in the 2027 World Cup pre-qualifiers.
The games will start in November 2024 with a total of 3 games, all of them will be home games at the Coque in Kirchberg. SAVE THE DATES!

November 7th: Luxembourg – Montenegro
November 10th: Luxembourg – Switzerland
February 6th: Bosnia and Herzegovina – Luxembourg
February 9th: Montenegro – Luxembourg

After starting the qualification with 2 victories against Switzerland (56:48 on the road) and against Bosnia and Herzegovina (77:64 at home), Luxembourg’s women host co-leader Montenegro in a game where the winner will take over the lead in group H. 3 days later, the team of head coach Mariusz Dziurdzia will host Switzerland. Eight groups participate in this qualification, the 8 group winners and the four best second placed teams qualify for FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2025.

After winning the first duell on the road in Romania 76:72, our men’s national team is looking to repeat the success in front of our home fans. 3 groups are part of the pre-qualification, the 3 group winners and the best second placed will qualify for the next qualification round.

After the 2024/25 season, there is no break for our national team players. In fact, the games of the small European counrtries are on the schedule in Andorra from May 26th until May 31th. The men’s national team will try to defend the Gold medal while the women’s team came up with the Silver medal in 2023.
