The Senior Women National Team is looking back at productive and successful two weeks filled with numerous practice sessions, in order to prepare the next FIBA Window, which takes place in November.
The goal was to lay the groundwork, tactics and habits prior to the upcoming international games, for which the preparation time will be very limited in the fall.
To round up the stage, our National Team traveled to Namur this last weekend to face the U20 Belgium National Team.
With a far from complete squad, Team Luxemburg showed a great performance and was able to beat a good selection of Belgium (Their U20 team will compete in the A Group in the U20 FIBA Youth Championship starting on the 6th of July).
Numerous from our core players were not able to attend the trip due to minor injuries, unavailability or family reasons.
The players in action were nevertheless able to deliver two good performances that rounded up the Summer Stage of Team Luxemburg.
