On Friday-evening, Arantia Larochette is back in action after being forced to take a break because of the Covid-19-virus. The team of coach Christophe Ney knows that they will finish the season in 6th place and face T71 on the road in the play-in game next week. This is why their 2 remaining games (Friday against T71 and on Sunday against Racing) are a good chance to get ready and find their rhythm. The game on Sunday will be the last game for Racing this season. It is a strange coincidence that T71 and Arantia will meet in the same gym on Friday only 5 days before the do-or-die game against each other.
T71 will also have another game on Sunday against Telstar, a season-closing game for the team from Hesperange, their eyes are clearly on next season.
The 3 remaining games will not have an impact on the final standings. Etzella (1st) and Résidence (2nd) will have home-court-advantage in the semi-finals while T71 (3rd) will face Arantia (6th) in a single-game elimination showdown, Basket Esch (4rd) will face AB Contern (5th).
