This Saturday and Sunday, the men’s game day 12 will be played while the women’s LBBL is heading into game day 10.
In the men’s LBBL, Amicale Steinsel and Basket Esch want to bounce back after getting eliminated in the cup competition during the week. With a road victory, Basket Esch could jump to the top of the standings and tie with Amicale in the standings. Etzella and Résidence were able to advance to the semi finals during the week, now they face each other on Sunday while the guests from Walfer have a chance to tie with the opponent in the standings.
UPDATE: Mambra Mamer has added former Sparta guard Lavone Holland to its roster as the club announced on Friday. After the injuries by Nelson Larkins and Antunio Bivins, Mamer had to react as the club notes on its facebook page.
At the bottom of the standings, Gréngewald Hueschtert is desperately looking to beat the Musel Pikes and collect as many points as possible before the start of the play down.
With the start of the second round of the season, the direct comparison will become highly interesting. These potential tie breakers might become decisive at the end of the season to determine the final classification before the start of the play-offs and play-down.
