On Saturday, the first two semi finals were played in the Lalux Ladies Cup and in the Loterie Nationale Coupe de Luxembourg.
Women:
AB Contern – Sparta Bertrange 66:69 (after OT)
– Led by Jovana Jaksic (16 points), Sparta had a 34:24 lead at the break
– Contern stormed back into the game with a 15:9 third quarter and Sparta’s lead was cut to 4 points (39:43)
– Contern took its first lead of the game with 8 minutes remaining in the game
– At the end of regulation, Francesca Wurtz hit a big 3-pointer to give Contern the lead but Jaksic hit 3 clutch free throws to force overtime (video)
– In the extra 5 minutes, Mia Hagen hit the decisive 3-pointer (video)
– Jovana Jaksic finished the game with 39 points and 11 rebounds, Bridget Yoerger added 24 rebounds and 10 assists

Gréngewald Hueschtert – Etzella Ettelbruck 50:104
– Etzella led 61:23 at the break and completely dominated this game from the start
– 11 Etzella-players scored points, Timothy Bond led his team with 23 points
