On Friday and Saturday, the final game day of the women’s regular season was played.
The final decisions have fallen, number one seed Gréngewald Hueschtert will play T71 Dudelange (4th seed) in the semi finals while Sparta Bertrange (2) will face AB Contern (3), the semi finals will be played in a best-of-3 mode.
Sparta Bertrange – Amicale Steinsel 94:53
– Sparta earns home court advantage for the semi finals against either T71 or Contern
– Sparta decided the game with a 35:10 third quarter to take control
– Nicole Torresani led her team with 24 points off the bench, Kyaja Williams added 21 points
T71 Dudelange – Basket Esch 81:65
– T71 enters the semi finals as the number 4 seed and will play against Gréngewald
– Lauren Van Kleunen and Shalonda Winton scored 24 points each
Musel Pikes – Gréngewald Hueschtert 76:101
– Gréngewald enters the semi finals unbeaten, the Pikes are the last placed team before the start of the play-down
– Alexus Johnson had 36 points and 22 rebounds for the guests
AB Contern – Les Sangliers Wiltz 88:65
– Contern defends the third place and will play against Sparta Bertrange in the semi finals
– Charlie Bidinger scored 20 points while Esmeralda Skrijelj added 18 points
