The women team T71 Dudelange is on the road in Portugal on Thursday evening to play the third game of their EuroCup competition. Dudelange will play against SL Benfica, the game starts at 22:00.
T71 started the competition with a furious road win in Namur (72:60). Last week, the team of coach Jerôme Altmann lost 84:94 at home against Fribourg.
Benfica is unbeaten in the group (2:0). They were able to beat Namur by the same margin than T71 (12 points) and won by 2 points against Fribourg which clould be an indicator that the team is equally strong than the last opponent Fribourg. During the week, T71 announced the signning of a third professional player in Zykera Rice. It will be interesting to see what role she will play with the team moving forward.
