The EuroCup competition starts this week for the two top teams of Luxembourg’s LBBL league. Champion Gréngewald Hueschtert will be in action on Thursday and T71 Dudelange will have its first game already on Wednesday evening.
T71 will travel to Spain to face Spar Girona, the game will start at 20:30. The opponent finished the regular season in Spain in second place last season which shows the enormous quality of the team. One player of the team is 3X3 national team player Sandra Ygueravide, the 38-year old player played against Luxembourg at the 3X3 European Championship on Israel a month ago. Gréngewald Hueschtert will start the competition at home on Thursday evening when the team of coach Francois Manti welcomes KP Tany Brno from the Czech Republic at 19:15. The « Greens » are confident that they can grab at least a victory in this competition, the home game against the team from the Czech Republic could be a good opportunity.
Gréngewald added Marie-Bernadette Mbuyamba to reinforce the roster, the French player will play next to 2 out of the 3 professional players already on the roster of the team (Logic, Van Kleunen, Cahill) in this EuroCup campaign.
