Our U16 boys played the fourth group game of the European Championship (Division B) on Monday. The FLBB squad was able to grab its first victory by beating Iceland 87:80.
A balanced team effort with multiple players scoring the basketball allowed Luxembourg to stay in the game and create a lead in the final minutes of the game.
Six players scored 8 or more points, Theo McLeod led Luxembourg with 19 points while Max Jungers added a double double (13 points, 12 rebounds).
The final group game will be played on Tuesday at 11:00 against Montenegro.
