Our U16 boys played the fifth and final group game of the European Championship (Division B) on Tuesday. The FLBB squad lost 52:84 against Montenegro and will compete for the places 17-22.
Mateo McSwain scored 14 points in the opening quarter and Luxembourg only trailed by 2 points (20:22) after 10 minutes. Luxembourg trailed by 9 points heading into the break but Montenegro took control of the game in the second half to come up with a comfortable victory.
Mateo McSwain led Luxembourg with 20 points. The classification games will start on Thursday.
