Our U16 boys started the European Championship (Division B) on Thursday with a game against Czechia. The game was close for 3 quarters before Czechia pulled away, the FLBB squad lost 55:72.
Max Jungers hot a great start and sparked Luxembourg with 15 points in the first half, the FLBB squad trailed 27:28 after 20 minutes. Czechia was able to create and extend a lead to start the fourth quarter and finally came up with the victory.
Max Jungers scored a game-high 25 points for Luxembourg. The second game of the competition will be on Friday at 16:00 against Cyprus.
