U16 boys start European Championship on Thursday

Our U16 boys start the European Championship (Division B) on Thursday in Skopje. In group B, they will face the Netherlands, Iceland, Czechia, Montenegro and Cyprus before the classification games will start.

Coaching staff: „After several months of practices the remaining members of the team assembled three weeks ago to begin serious preparations for the tournament in Macedonia. The team spent five days in France engaging in intensive training. They hope to carry that intensity into the tournament. The competition will be fierce but the team is determined to compete with great ferocity.“

A total of 22 teams will compete for the Division B crown. They have been split into four groups with two groups of five and two groups of six:

Group A: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Portugal, Hungary, Switzerland, Belgium
Group B: Netherlands, Iceland, Czechia, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Cyprus
Group C: Romania, Slovakia, Great Britain, Ireland, Denmark, Norway
Group D: Estonia, Ukraine, Sweden, Austria, North Macedonia
