Our U16 played the third and last classification game of the European Championship (Division B) on Saturday. With a 74:47 victory against Kosovo, the FLBB squad managed to secure a spot in the Division B.
After a balanced first quarter, Luxembourg created a lead in the second quarter and entered the break with a 13-point lead (38:25). In the end, the FLBB team clearly won the game and celebrated a very important victory.
Tereza Liska led Luxembourg with 22 points, all 12 players received playing time in this final game of the competition.

Coaching staff: « In the last game against Kosovo, the team managed to secure a victory. However, the result could have been more decisive if the players had acted more focused. For the first time, the team managed to allow the opponent less than 49 points, and they were also able to win the rebounds.
Overall, the coaching staff is satisfied with the three victories and the team’s performance. The players fought hard, showed a good attitude, learned from mistakes, and developed further in each game.
The experience gained will certainly help the players in their development. »
