Our U16 girls have won the last game of the European Championship (Division B) and finished the tournament at the 17th place under 19 teams.
On Saturday, Luxembourg was able to beat North Macedonia 59:51. 14-year old Joyce Etute led the team with 21 points and 19 rebounds, Isa Hamalainen (13 points) and Emma Blasen (12) scored in double digits as well.

„Our team was highly motivated and determined to win the third game and secure the 17th position. Despite some difficulties in defense, our team was leading The whole game and finally won 59:51.
The girls showed a lot of character, the will to fight and proudly represented Luxembourg in Montenegro. The tournament gave each player a lot of experience, that will help in the future.“
This game also marks the end of this summer’s European Championships for the FLBB youth squads.
