Our U16 girls fly to Konya (Turkey) on Monday to take part in the FIBA U16 women’s Eurobasket (Divison B). From August 15th until 24th, 20 teams will compete in 4 groups of 5 teams each.
Luxembourg will play in group D with the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, the Netherlands and Austria.
Coaching staff: „Over the past months and weeks, the team has gained valuable experience by playing the MEL League, the Youth trophy and friendly games against their age-mates from Great Britain. The girls face a big challenge in Group D, but are focused and determined to give their all to represent Luxembourg in a worthy manner. »
