The U16 Women are travelling to Piešťany to the FIBA European Challenger to play against Romania, Israel, Slovakia, Switzerland, and Ireland.
The girls are looking forward to finally playing basketball games again – they have barely played since the beginning of the pandemic. In the other participating countries, the youth championships have been played almost normally.
The goal is to get a first experience in an international tournament and to measure up to other countries. The team is very young and most of the girls will also still be playing for the U16 Women next year.
